A few things for me to remember about Charlotte at 14 months:
She still has only 2 teeth (on the bottom). She can tell you what a doggy says (panting), what a cow says, and what a monkey says (ah ah ah). Her latest vocab is "choo choo" and whenever she hears one (all the time around here), she looks to the window and says it. Two other new words are "bird" and "shoe", although neither is very clear. She also loves to say baby, look at babies, and often calls kids who are older than her "baby". Yesterday I said "poo poo" a couple of times when I was changing her and now she says it when we change her sometimes, whether her diaper is poopy or not.
She is starting to understand more directions--go get your hippo, penguin, monkey, elephant, doggy, dolly, bear, etc, and knows the difference between each one. She gives kisses to people/characters in her books. She really likes to dance. She is still working on walking, which seems like it is taking forever. She likes to get to standing position in the middle of the floor and have you clap for her before she plops back down. She lovvves peanut butter and honey sandwiches, cheese, spaghetti, bananas, kiwi, tortillas, corn, black beans, and more.
Charlotte is the cutest and sweetest little girl and she is getting more and more fun all the time!
