Craig told me that last weekend we were going to see Mary Poppins. We dropped Charlotte off at our neighbor's, got dressed up, went to the theater and...they told us our tickets were for this past weekend. Craig felt really bad. Luckily our friends are nice and told us that they would keep Charlotte while we went and did something else. Really, this mistake was great because it allowed us to go out by ourselves 2 weekends in a row! Glorious. So 2 days ago we went to Mary Poppins for my birthday. It was a great show and a lot of fun. People clapping along, great dancing and music, awesome sets, Mary Poppins flying with her umbrella...the works. It was also our first time in the Orpheum Theater downtown and it was so pretty! Loved it all. Thanks to Craig for a great date and birthday present!
Later that night we went over to our friends' house for appetizers, dessert and fun. Good weekend all around!Yesterday we had some friends/our neighbors over for a Valentine's dinner of heart shaped pizza, salad, and strawberry trifle. Yum. Today Charlotte wore her Valentinesy top and Craig surprised me by finding a Korean BBQ place to take me to. Nothing says "I love you" like a little fermented cabbage, eh? (my fave, seriously) SO good, and the owners were the best. We've been craving Korean ever since we moved here, so we're glad to have found a great place to go. Plus it's cute hearing Craig speak Korean to people and watching him bow to them and all that.

How fun! Mary Poppins would be a fun show to see. Your babe is adorable. I can't wait to meet her. Not to mention she is getting so BIG! Fun times ahead!
