Sun Bears.

Yesterday Charlotte and I met Craig at the zoo when he was done with his work festivities. Charlotte slept the entire time, which was fine with us because the night before she had a heck of a time and pretty much prevented any of us from sleeping...
Anyway, we don't visit the zoo without seeing the penguins, gorillas, and bears. Those are our faves. We visited the bears when we first got there and decided to stop by again on the way back. You can see the bears from ground level or go up a back way and look down into their enclosures from about 20 ft. up. We like to do the latter, and this is what we found:

He had climbed up to the top of the highest tree and was above all of the fences. If he had reached out and so had I we could have almost held hands/paws/claws.

He started climbing back down at one point when he thought we were leaving and then stayed when we got out the camera to take pictures. We've seen him pose for pictures with other people before too.

We love our zoo. And we love the Sun Bears. They are entertaining and way better than the lame Polar bear. But their dental hygiene leaves something to be desired.

Um, Candice? That is statue. Just kidding. That's really cool! He is so close to you. And I'm glad to see you're using your carseat cover.

What great pictures. That is so cool. The Utah zoo is definitely lame. P.S. You do not look like you just had a baby.

You are perhaps the cutest (and skinniest) little mommy ever. Truth!
